Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day my loves! ❤

I hope you will have a lot of fun today with your loved ones. I do. I love it, and not just because I’m currently in a happy relationship, but because I love all the pink and red, the flowers, balloons, getting funny meme-inspired Valentine cards. There’s literally no excuse to be sad on Valentine’s Day. Though we should be celebrating love 365 days of the year, February 14th is always a special day on our calendars. Try to enjoy it this year, because choosing to hate it is never a good idea.

However, if you find yourself alone come February 14, you probably view the holiday a bit differently. But just because you  are not in a relationship, doesn’t mean you don’t have anyone special to share this day with and it doesn’t mean that the day itself can’t be special.

Since Valentine’s Day is all about love, spend the day loving yourself. It makes perfect sense. Go on a shopping spree and take advantage of the holiday sales or take advantage of all the “me-time” you’re getting by indulging in a massage or mani-pedi.

You can always call your mom or your friends and spend the day with them. Have a movie night, order a pizza and drink your favorite wine with them.

Spend the day with your cat (or any pet you have). Animals always make us feel better, and they are perfect when you don’t want to be alone.

While I do love Valentine’s Day, I’m not sure we really need a day to tell us that we should tell our partners that we love them. We don’t need a specific day to show our love for the important people in our lives. With 365 days in a year, can’t we do that every day? One shouldn’t have to wait for February 14 to show their partner they appreciate and love them with everything they have. That should be something you do because you want to, today, tomorrow, and forever.

That was it for today, I hope you enjoyed. 🙂

Have a nice day❤

Love, Dajana.
