Essence Wake Up Spring Review

Goodbye winter, hello spring!

Today I wanted to share with you guys something that I’ve bought few days ago. It’s an Essence eyeshadow palette.

As you probably already know, Essence have a new collection named ”Wake Up Spring”. In their collection there is this eyeshadow palette, some blushes, blush brushes, lipsticks, nail polishes and stickers. There is really a lot of cute and cool stuff that I would like to try. But this time I have only bought an eyeshadow palette and blush brush.

Brush looks like this:

I have to be honest, the only reason why I bought this palette is because of the package. I think it looks so, so cute, so I couldn’t resist. Now, what’s the point of having a cute eyeshadow palette if the pigmentations sucks. So, I will do swatches as well!

The pigmentation is fine, but definitely not the best. As you can see the first four colors you can barely see and they look quite the same, but the last one is actually pretty pigmented. And to be honest, I had a feeling it will be like that.

I still think this palette looks really, really cute!

I just don’t think I will use this palette very often, maybe for a daily makeup would be nice, because it’s not so dramatic. So for everyday makeup would be totally fine.

I hope you enjoyed reading this review. Did you already tried this Essence palette? What do you think about it? πŸ™‚

Stay positive and don’t forget to smile!

This is cute! I think I would be more likely to buy it if it had a little bit more variety, as it is, all those pinks would be difficult to do much with, I think. I wonder if the colours show better on the eye? I know the skin of your arms is more exposed to sun and such, so the colour is a bit different from what eyelids would be? Either way, there is still too much pink for me πŸ˜‰

OH my! β™₯_β™₯ The brush is really cute dear! I totally love the design, πŸ™‚ wake up spring! is saying hello beautiful πŸ™‚ I agree with you, the palette can be used for everyday makeup since it’s just really light but I’d still prefer the matte one πŸ™‚ Thanks for the honest review πŸ™‚
